Open Access Policy
The Journal of Infectiology and Epidemiology (JEPIBIO) is fully committed to the principles of open access (OA) publishing. OA publishing makes it possible for scientists, researchers, scholars, educators, policymakers, clinicians, and the general-public to read and share the peer-reviewed scientific literature. It requires unrestricted distribution and free availability along with reuse attribution and rights of distribution. OA articles are citation tracked and included in all major bibliographic databases
Free availability
The management of the JEPIBIO ensures that the articles published in the journal are freely accessible online/ via internet immediately upon publication, without any cost/barrier of subscription/registration to the readers universally. This guarantees that global community can read, download, and access the full texts of the articles related to Epidemiology and Infection biology without restrictions. All articles are available on the public internet, free from financial, legal, or technical barriers, aside from those inherent to internet access itself. JEPIBIO promotes the open exchange of advancements in scientific knowledge, ensuring that publication practices align with the sustainability of rigorous peer review and the highest standards of academic integrity. By embracing OA publishing, JEPIBIO contributes to the global dissemination of research, fostering innovation and collaboration across the scientific communities related to Epidemiology and infection biology.
Distribution
All the published articles will be permanently free to read, download/copy and distribute. This ensure that final published article can be re-used and immediately deposited in any repository. Authors can easily comply with the OA policy of JEPIBIO as OA articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license of Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND) permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
JEPIBIO is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the readers or any institution. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
The costs associated with OA publishing in JEPIBIO are covered by article publication charges (APCs). These APCs, or publication fee, are charged to authors, institutions, or funders once an article has been accepted for publication. The article processing charges (APC) of the manuscript is 30,000 PKR (For Pakistani) and 200 US$ (For Foreigners). There is no charge if an article is rejected (before or after peer review), and there are no submission fees.
